Daniel Dryjanski is a figurative painter/ designer from Chicago, now living and working in Charlotte.

About

I was born in Chicago in 1989, and I've had a intense interest in creating figurative art ever since. Even at the early age of three, I was caught ransacking my mother's make-up kit, since I loved to sketch murals on the wallpaper with her lipstick. Throughout childhood I honed my drawings with portraits of teachers, seen as precocious by some. By high school, I was primarily preoccupied with art and music, so perhaps, left something to be desired in other subjects. I suppose my studies suffered to a certain extent, because I prefer to teach than to be taught. As time went on, I learned to learn.

Projects

I’m somewhat of a studio rat. I can spend entire days where I move less than 10 feet from my easel. I work in a variety of mediums, though when I was given a set of oil paints in high school, I was immediately hooked. I like the challenge of finding a style that suits the scene.

Currently I’m designing a series of interactive webinars. Reach out if that sounds interesting to you.
